“Amanda has three qualities: she is a great communicator online and in person; she has a cordon bleu background and hospitality experience; she is an inspirational artist. These qualities mean that, when you visit her guesthouse, you are getting ‘Amanda’ as well as the delights of Andalucia and a superb break. In an increasingly commoditised holiday market, locations like Casa La Celada stand out like jewels of excellence.” J. Dent
“Dear Amanda, I entered as a friend, although we never met before. And will be leaving today (April 21, 2009) as a member of the family. You’re not a B&B or guesthouse, you’re something more. At ease, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, great place to contemplate. It was my first stay, but not my last one. Lots of enjoyable days I wish to the both of you. And I will spread the message. Sorry to leave, Love Jan Mulder”
“Amanda offers a service second to none, with everyone enjoying the same high standards. Casa La Celeda is and idylic place that needs to be experienced to be understood” K. Redhead
“I recommended Casa La Celada to a friend who needed a respite from both work and life. HF spent two weeks with Amanda and could not praise her or the accomodation highly enough. She was given an upgrade to the best suite, received service way beyond the call of duty and has been nagging me to go as soon as possible. Can’t wait! Check out Casa La Celada on TripAdvisor and you’ll see what I mean.” P. W. Brown
“Amanda is a trusted friend: in these times where much of our communication and interaction has become transient and frivolous, Amanda can be relied upon to reach out to others, as she says in her profile, heart to heart. Her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her life and her work attracts others to her like a moth to a flame. She is a shining example of someone who knows what she wants, and utilises her many, prodigious talents to reach her goals. I once said that if I had to maintain only one connection in my network, it would be Amanda, and I still stand by that today.” P. Buckley
“Amanda is one of the most positive and energetic people I have EVER known. She bubbles with enthusiasm, without making you cringe and dearly loves her Spain, with good reason. Her B&B is breathtaking and anyone who travels to Spain must seriously consider spending a few marvelous days there. Likewise, Amanda is well read and diverse, so her cultural roots are absolutely entertaining. I can’t begin to describe how much you will gain when in Amanda’s company, even when it’s simply email communication. Please, if you’re ever even considering going to Spain, you MUST stay with Amanda. You will always count the time as one of those wonderful memories that lasts forever.” B. Lenthart
“Amanda is a breath of fresh air who really knows how to make your stay at her guest house more than special. Totally enthusiatic about her life and what surrounds her, the beauty of Córdoba and Spain, she will help you enjoy your holiday to its fullest.” G. Hunt
“From the moment you arrive Amanda and Zack ensure that you are made to feel like one of the family. Our room was set up beautifully when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble – tea/coffee when needed, a warm fire glowing in the lounge after a tiring day, fantastic breakfast/dinner in the most relaxing surroundings.
Set in superb countryside Casa La Celada only a short drive from numerous interesting villages, mountains and lakes. I would recommend Casa La Celada to anyone who wants to get away from the stresses and strains of modern life. PS – Great little restaurant is ten minutes walk away (back down to the main road) , you can sit in the fire place (it is about 15 feet across) and eat excellent food which is very reasonably priced.” J. Southport“My wife and I spent a few days in September, as guests of Amanda Hamilton in her lovely home Casa la Celada. As world wide travellers we are pretty experienced at what we want when we are on holiday, what we expect to pay, and how we expect to be treated. I have to say that this guest house exceeded our expectations in all areas. From the moment we arrived, although never having met Amanda before, we felt privileged to be there. Anne said to me, “I feel as if I am visiting a close friend, the place is so homely and the welcome so warm. After a long drive from Madrid we arrived at the beautiful Andalucian Guesthouse. We were shown, not to the room we had booked, but upgraded to the “honeymoon suite”. The accomodation was luxurious, with quality furniture, decoration and furnishings, an en-suite bathroom with separate walk in shower, double handbasins and mirrors, the best of soaps, toiletries etc, and a large bath complete with jacuzzi. Instead of the 5 star chocolate on the pillow, our bed had two beautiful flowers and a box of luxury chocolate truffles! After freshening up we were welcomed with an excellent bottle of rosada, a table full of delicious home made tapas, finishing off with some quality local malaga wine. The breakfasts each morning were again top class and nothing we wanted was ever too much trouble. There is a roof top terrace complete with large open air spa tub, and phenomanal views of the surrounding hills and olive farms. Casa La Celada is a pretty and luxurious villa offering B&B, Guest House Accommodation or Self Catering in Córdoba, Southern Spain. I would recommend anyone to pay Amanda a visit, I guarantee you will not be disapointed.” C. Robertson
“Amanda is a warm , genuine and trustworthy lady. She just loves helping people and I am sure you will feel at home in her Bed & Breakfast” F. Daems
“Amanda’s energetic and positive spirit is quite an inspiration to everyone around her. Her dedication to her dream and project, Casa La Celada, turned it into a truely exciting hiding place for all those who seek relaxation and quality time away from the stressful life style we lead nowadays. It’s great to be connected to Amanda, and see the difference she’s making to her clients’ lives.” A. Mansour
“Great to be part of Amanda’s trusted network! She is consistent, creative and clever. Her approach to clients reflects her background in art, as well as her keen sense of business. She is an excellent guide and possesses unique storytelling skills.” S. Buchholz
“Amanda demonstrates extraordinary commitment to creative, innovative customer service. She works very hard to deliver the ‘wow’ factor and consistently delights and excites people. She’s one of the bravest, smartest and most inspiring small-businesspeople I’ve met.” K. Brinkley
“Amanda is an inspiration to those who know her. As my personal friendship with Amanda nears two years now, I can say she is bright , versatile, intrelligent, and certainly quick-witted with a personal charm, keen sense of humour and outgoing personality that makes her stand out. Her story, her struggle, and her ultimate success is a testimony about a single mother who packed it up and moved to Spain with her young son. Her Hotel is more than a family bed n’ breakfast in a picturesque setting in Spain; but rather it is a unique experience and a memory she carefully crafts for every guest. She is a friend, and she is someone I will gladly endorse.” J. Ziegler
“Amanda is a very friendly, serial blogger. She is also an incredibly creative and talented artist, but most people know her as the friend who runs a stunning Bed and Breakfast in Andalucia, Cordoba (South of Spain) If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, take a look at her website http://casa-la-celada.com” A. Williams
“Amanda has an exuberant style and personality which shines through both on the internet and in conversation, and although I haven’t yet met her in person, I am certain she is a talented, dedicated individual who has created the perfect medium for her to express herself and to live the life of her dreams. A commendable achievement from an admirable woman.” C. Miller
“I want to recommend Amanda, not only as a multi facetted business woman, but also as a great and very deep person. She is of value to all she meet, she know how to do business, maintain friendships and have a quest to better the world – and SHE DOES !! I am very grateful to be part of her “world” – and hope as many as possible find their way to her, virtuealy / mentally or as her guest in Andalucía. Kind Regards Carrsten Johan Thessen Technical Product Manager”
