Caracatures:
Spending time on a course in North Devon, I sat and doodled awhile as I watched my fellow course participants – all youngish women (okay, there was a spread!). When I returned home, I found that I had the most amazing work in my notebook and started to create black and white caracatures of my friends!
There is already a range of caracatures available to purchase, see 'The Crones' page, but if you would like your very own original caracature I will create one for you.
Each caracature holds essence, rather than fact, of the original model. I don’t try to create an absolute likeness, but I use aspects of the person concerned so that there is a definite resemblance, while turning a young, spritely creature into a Wise Old Crone!
