Inspired by the beautiful, unspoilt mountain villages of Northern Spain, this series of paintings entitled “Neighbours” is now available to buy as Giclee Prints.  The title was so easy to find – small mountain villages are held together and driven apart in equal measure by the “neighbour factor”.  It was never possible to walk down the street without someone noticing, commenting, and passing on – “Amanda has gone to buy bread” – “She has taken the car to Teruel” ….. by the time I returned, the inhabitants of our too-narrow-to-pass-with-a-car street would ALL know where I had been, and would have embellished the purpose themselves!
