What a total fiasco with a happy ending that was!

I have a new large art commission on which will take me several months to get right - not only for the brain power required, but for the actual purchase of the right piece of paper !

Travelling to my trusty art shop, I checked out their HUGE A1 sheets of watercolour - all were broken and dirty ...

So I asked for a new piece - two perhaps, to be produced - to which I was told to come back in a week ...

Which I did ...

To find 2 new pieces, both broken and dirty ... !!

3 weeks later EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!


How difficult can it be to get a large piece of paper I am asking myself !

And now I have the happy ending :

They went direct to the manufacturers, ordered 10 sheets which were brought in MINT condition to the shop, and bless them, they gave them to me for free ...

Paint brushes at the ready folks !!

Paintings sold at Iznájar Mediaevel Market

I am very happy to say that I sold a painting at the local last Sunday of the Month Market!

They generated a lot of interest, so let's hope we sell more!

Doodling this afternoon, while I have had several things running around inside my head, I put the doodle above the television to dry ...

Sitting now looking at the television, I am also looking at the painting - and staring right back at me are several of the answers to the questions I have been asking ...

It is so exciting to see the solutions there, in front of my face, and I need do nothing ...

That's another reason why I love painting :)

Filled with produce from locally creative artists, it is well worth a visit ... From leather to glass, food to music, paintings to bric-a-brac ...

New Paintings coming again!

It's very exciting - since getting some consultancy help not so long ago, and with the weather on the turn, the painting urge has crept back into the fore, and I am starting to work on some more Quirky Watercolours - this time of the local sights ....

Little by little we will get quite a portfolio of local work together ....
