My love of painting original quirky houses came about after a friend lent me her
delicious holiday cottage in Up-Along, St. Ives in Cornwall. Rachel Cockerill is an
artist herself who has greatly influenced me and my watercolour painting. The view from the cottage
inspired my first attempt at a seascape - "A Room with a View" motivated and enthused by being in an artist's cottage surrounded by her original work and or course the
week of glorious weather. The next two paintings followed closely behind
with my quirky style developing.
I sell these paintings as either signed limited or open edition giclee
prints. These prints are produced by a small art printing service in South
Wales, in the United Kingdom. They are printed onto 310 gsm watercolour
paper, with a generous white border ready for framing.
